Boasting the largest display of industrial technology equipment in the KZN region, the KwaZulu-Natal Industrial Technology Exhibition (KITE) takes the legwork out of finding best-of-breed light to heavy industrial technology, as well as packaging and printing solutions.

At the show, veteran exhibitor Pyrotec PackMark is showcasing its Pyrotec PackLink software – a fully-integrated customised product tracking system that increases line visibility while improving efficiency by tracking waste, labour and resources, and limiting downtime by enabling critical decisions to be made on the fly.

Among an impressive line-up of equipment on show is the ultra-portable Anser U2 mobile hand-held printer that is versatile, lightweight and adept at handling even the trickiest print surfaces and print angles.

The Anser U2 Pro-S Inkjet printer – the world’s first solvent-compatible cartridge specially designed for primary package coding applications. It’s compact size and 3.5-inch LCD screen offer an excellent user experience and hassle-free installation and integration.

Also on show is Markem-Imaje’s 8018 thermal transfer printer that delivers an improved corporate image and profitability because it replaces manual hot foil technology with real-time digital coding.

In addition to the 8018, visitors will see the Large Character Valvejet 4500 with its highly responsive colour touch screen, its clean plug and play consumable changeover in less than 30 seconds, and no daily maintenance required.

Markem-Imaje’s Small Character Inkjet 9029 is also being showcased. The 9029 is proven to facilitate daily operations that save customers’ time. It’s easy to install, easy to design messages and easy to run.

Also on show is the Smart-Date X30 primary coding machine that’s ideal for low- to medium-speed production lines for printing on flexible film.
