Fortinet appoints Core Networks as value added distributor for South Africa

Fortinet® , the global leader in high-performance cyber security solutions, announced it has signed a partnership agreement with Core Networks, a value added distributor specialized in wireless solutions, for the distribution of its wireless security solutions in South Africa.

Core Networks, with its extensive channel network and experience in the enterprise wireless space, will help foster Fortinet’s penetration into South African-based businesses. Core Networks will be distributing Fortinet’s wireless security solutions such as access points, wireless controllers etc. Anton de Jager, Owner at Core Networks, says “With Security and Wi-Fi uptake growing at a staggering rate per year, we see all the vertical markets investing in enterprise Wi-Fi. In addition to Wi-Fi solutions, Core Networks’ partnership with Fortinet paves the way for the value added distributor to offer customers additional security products and other networking solutions, allowing them to deliver end to end solutions. De Jager says Core Networks aims to explore a number of opportunities presented by the partnership. “Where possible we will also explore other opportunities within the extensive product range” he says.
