Energy Engineered Products, founded by Hugh Whitty in 1992, is a group of industrial product suppliers that offers a range of industrial metals, from stainless steel through to special alloys, in the form of round bars, pipes, tubes, fittings, valves, studbolts and related accessories to the South African and African markets.
The group’s five business units – Energy Metals, Energy Bolts, Energy Exports, Energy Projects and Energy Valves division – specialise in stock, import-on-order and project supply from the group’s strategically based premises in Kyalami Business Park, Midrand, Johannesburg.
ISO 9001-certified Energy Valves is a division of Energy Engineered Products and offers a range of stainless steel and corrosion-resistant special-alloy valves sourced from quality, highly certified, well-established manufacturers with a proven track record. The company has built long-term relationships with its suppliers and regularly audits its quality standards, ensuring that all valve products are supplied with material and pressure-test certificates.
Energy Valves keeps a comprehensive stock of the more commonly used valves in corrosion-resistant alloys, but is well positioned to supply a wider range of valves in both the lower steel grades – such as carbon steels, through to stainless steel grade 316 and some of the more advanced ranges of stainless steels and alloys.
Duplex stainless steel valves manufactured from alloy 2205 and valves manufactured from alloy 20 are also available from Energy Valves to meet the more demanding applications. Valves in titanium Gr2, Hastelloy grades, 904L, nickel alloys, as well as a variety of other high-performance alloys are available on request.

Energy Valves is the exclusive agent for Taiwan-based valves manufacturer John Valve and Chinese valves manufacturer WSV, who manufactures “specials” on request, with reasonable delivery times and guaranteed quality – it is a winning combination for Energy Valves.
