The large scanning angle of 270 degrees is especially advantageous as this facilitates mounting on corners or edges to allow for front and side guarding. Significantly, depending on the actual application, it is possible to replace a second laser scanner with this single device.
The device features two completely autonomous protective functions, and has two pairs of safety switching outputs making it ideal for safeguarding and access guarding applications with separate machine parts.
