Project Description
The first phase of the Dube TradePort is now fully occupied.

Phase 2 of the project will bring an additional 45 ha of prime, light industrial land within the DTP SEZ and offer opportunities in electronics; aeronautical services, such as air­craft maintenance, aircraft repair, overhaul and fixed-base operations; and executive aerospace.

Potential Job Creation
The first phase of the project has been able to create more than 12 000 job opportunities.

Phase 2 is expected to create 100s of jobs.

Project Owner/s
The expansion will generate about R18-billion in investment over five years.

Planned Start/End Date
The project was announced in March 2019.
