JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Dual-listed Central Rand Gold (CRG) has started processing the gold-bearing ore it has sourced from a third-party supplier.

The gold-bearing ore was sourced under a joint venture (JV) tolling agreement and stockpiled at CRG’s metallurgical plant.

The tolling agreement allowed for the processing of at least 18 000 t/m of gold-bearing ore.

CRG is presently processing the stockpiled gold-bearing material through Mill 3 only, as Mill 1 is still being installed post refurbishment. The company expects that material
will also be processed through both Mill 1 and Mill 2 from early August onward.
