A new cream is now available to treat skin ailments such as eczema, rashes, burns, shingles, sunburn and insect bites.
The cream contains a combination of natural extracts, colloidal oats, shea butter, rosewater and chamomile essence.
The natural extracts are said to have anti-inflammatory properties, while the other ingredients aim to improve skin hydration, perform a barrier function and increase healing.
The cream has a botanical fragrance and is mild enough to use on babies. In addition, Bettamed Care Cream promises up to eight hours’ relief from inflammation and itching.
It is recommended that the cream be used in conjunction with the company’s Oxygen Spray. The spray is said to augment the effects of the cream, soothe skin and hasten healing. It is recommended especially if the skin condition is severe, infected or blistered.
The cream and spray are available from pharmacies and health retailers across South Africa.
