Contractor training improves safety and meets client requirements

ISN provides computer-based training materials for contractors

A new integrated Learning Management System (LMS) platform provides computer-based training materials to help contractors satisfy client and job-site requirements, while also helping to improve work-place safety.

The learning management system software application aims to provide complementary, high-quality, computer-based training materials from third-party providers for contractor customers to meet hiring client requirements.

Global contractor management services company, ISN, fast-tracked the launch of its LMS platform to help contractor customers to prioritise online employee training during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The LMS platform features training courses from approved third-party providers that can automatically sync with ISNetworld’s Training Qualifications (TQ) Tool. Approved providers include the National Safety Council, United Academy, MEA Energy Association, Vubiz, Danatec by We Know Training and others. All training is automatically integrated with the ISNetworld platform.

The platform features more than 40 training topics, in areas such as:

According to ISN, more than 11 500 trainings have been completed by more than 4 500 employees across more than 1 800 contractor companies this year.

The company further asserts that its efforts to make training resources accessible to both on-site and remote employees and contractors, helps customers to mitigate risks while empowering employees and contractors with the training needed to work safely and successfully.

The LMS platform is included in all US and Canadian subscriptions for contractors and suppliers.
