The Competition Commission has recommended to the Competition Tribunal that it approve a proposed transaction whereby Barnes Group Holdings intends to acquire Barnes Reinforcing (BRI).
Barnes Group manufactures steel tubes, pipes, black galvanised wire, and fencing posts and gates, as well as distributes diamond mesh.
BRI manufactures reinforcing steel and mesh products, as well as installs reinforcing steel and wire products.
