Members of the South African National Defence Force’s Special Forces Brigade use ropes to rappel from a Denel Oryx utility helicopter in a live-fire battlefield scenario during the Air Power Capability Demonstration at Roodewal Weapons Range, in Polokwane, earlier this month. The purpose of the event was to demonstrate the South African Air Force’s capability, as well as its readiness to support peacetime operations throughout Africa.
