The expansion, comprising 74 turbines, will increase the wind farm’s capacity by 199 MW to 599 MW, making it the largest wind farm in Enel’s North American portfolio.

Once the expansion is completed, Cimarron Bend will generate more than 2.7 TWh/y, which will prevent the emission of about 1.8-million tons of carbon dioxide a year.
