JSE-listed Basil Read on Monday announced the appointment of Amanda Wightman as CFO and FD of the company with immediate effect.
Wightman, who joined the company in 2005, had been acting in the position of interim CFO since November 2013, following the resignation of then FD PJ Marais.
Basil Read chairperson Lester Peteni welcomed Wightman’s appointment, saying: “The board looks forward to working with Amanda as we continually improve business performance and the strategic transformation of the company."
