In a relatively short space of time, Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan has been able to unite business and labour into an antijunk alliance of sorts. He led a tripartite delegation to meet investors in London, Boston and New York earlier in the month and work is under way on a series of growth recovery plans. Pictured above is Gordhan (left), flanked by business representatives Cas Coovadia and Jabu Mabuza ahead of a postroadshow media briefing, which was held, somewhat symbolically, at the JSE in Sandton on March 14.
