Project Description
The project will support the energy transition in Greece and entails the construction of a 840 MW natural gas-firedpower plant.

The plant will be powered by an engineered equipment package, which includes a gas turbine, steam turbine, a generator, with a triple pressure reheat heat-recovery steam generator and a distributed control system software solution.

The Alexandroupoli power plant will be equipped to also burn hydrogen in a mixture of up to 50%.

The facility will be supplied with gas directly from the Alexandroupoli floating storage regasification unit being developed by Gastrade.
