Project Description
The 19.5 ha development will offer a full spectrum of industrial and commercial warehousing solutions geared towards agrilogistics, call centres, cold storage, oil and gas and other ancillary, light industrial enterprises, along with a filling station and associated retail.
Spear REIT’s GTX Park will encompass 30 000 m² of light industrial units spread across nine sites.
The park will also feature photovoltaic solar infrastructure and innovative water augmentation solutions, with the aim of becoming an entirely self-sufficient, ecofriendly development.

The project is expected to create a significant number of job opportunities.
Capital Expenditure
Total investment is estimated at about R1.2-billion, of which R400-million will be invested in the GTX Park.
Planned Start/End Date
The project broke ground in November 2023.
