Established nearly two decades ago, Gauteng-based Abeyla Trading is a leading supplier of high- and low-pressure steel pipes and fittings as well as light structural and associated pipes and fittings to the mining, construction, industrial, water, petrochemicals and power industries.
The 100-employee company’s factory, located at 160 Galjoen road, in Wadeville, on Gauteng’s East Rand, is equipped with welding machines, a pipe-rolling machine and computer numerically controlled machines.
Abeyla is an ISO 9001-, ISO 14001- and OHSAS 18001-accredited company. Further, many of its projects are carried out in accordance with specifications such as the UK’s BS 534, American API specifications and South Africa’s SANS 1476.
Says a company spokesperson: “Our strong alliance with Tubular Holdings also means that we have to maintain and adhere to the policies and procedures within the group’s safety, health, environment and quality integrated management system.”
Its latest major contracts included the supply of special pipes for the Mokolo Crocodile project, in Lephalale.
