Project Description
The project involves the construction of a municipal solid-waste incineration plant, which, once completed, will have the largest waste treatment capacity in the world at 6 000 t/d.

The plant will consist of eight stoker furnace incinerators, each with a 750 t/d capacity.

Latest Developments
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Environmental & Chemical Engineering Co (MHIEC) has received an order to build a municipal solid waste incineration plant.

A consortium comprising MHIEC and Hangzhou New Century Energy Environmental Protection Engineering Co will provide the necessary equipment for waste heat recovery and flue-gas treatment.

MHIEC will be responsible for the design of various aspects of the plant, from incinerators to the flue-gas treatment system. It will also supply stokers, hydraulic units, an ash extractor and a catalyst system for nitrogen oxide removal.

HNC will provide the waste heat boilers and flue-gas treatment system.
