Valuable insights for Goscor customers during Tennant tour
Tennant, a global leader in the design, manufacturing and supply of quality cleaning and hygiene equipment, hosted a delegation from Goscor Cleaning Equipment, southern Africa’s leading operator in industrial and commercial cleaning equipment, on a tour of its world class manufacturing facility in Uden, Amsterdam.
Goscor Cleaning Equipment’s Sales Manager, Matthew Middleton, says the group of visitors included key Goscor customers. “Operating our equipment is one thing, but seeing how it is designed, manufactured from scratch and assembled, adds a whole new dimension. We were pleased to give our customers first-hand insight into the heart of Tennant, and also take them around the R&D facility, innovation hub and advanced distribution centre,” Middleton expands.
Tennant recently unveiled its latest products at the bi-annual ISSA/Interclean 2016 Expo, held in Amsterdam. Topping its list of new introductions was its new T300 automatic, walk-behind scrubber, which the visiting delegation at Uden were able to see being manufactured. Says Middleton: “Our customers were undoubtedly impressed by the T300 as well as some new industrial and commercial sweepers. Globally, huge advances are being made on the ‘eco’ side of cleaning equipment, so we were fortunate to gain insights into some of Tennant’s developments in the environmental pipeline. Tennant regards southern Africa as a key strategic market, so all in all the plant tour reinforced Goscor’s relationship with them – which is great news for our customers.”
