Crushing machines supplier Pilot Crushtec International is using the first bauma Africa as a platform to launch new products, the vast majority being new to the South African market.

Pilot Crushtec International director of sales Graham Klein-hans says the exhibition, to be held at the Gallagher Convention Centre from September 18 to 21, provides the ideal showcase for the company’s latest offerings in crushing and screening products, as well as ancillary equipment. These include not only imported equipment but also its own range of locally manufactured products purposely designed and built for African conditions.

“The bauma Africa trade show is by far the biggest exhibition of its kind to be staged on the continent. It is a genuinely international trade fair for specialist producers of mining and construction equipment.

“From Pilot Crushtec Inter-national’s perspective, the timing is perfect, as it coincides with our introduction of a wider variety of bigger, higher capacity products to suit operators needs as well as innovations to assist customers in increasing their return on investment,” he says.

The level of commitment Pilot Crushtec International has dedi- cated to bauma Africa is made evident by the size of its 1 000 m2 display area, which it will use to show new additions to its range.

These include the:
• TwisterTrac VS350 vertical shaft impact crusher;
• DoppiaTrac DR400 double roll crusher;
• Rubble Master RM100 GO!;
• Pilot Modular/TRIO MJ3042 modular jaw crusher plant;
• Pilot Modular/TRIO MJ4252 jaw crusher unit;
• Sandvik US440i mobile cone crusher;
• Sandvik QJ331 mobile jaw crusher;
• Sandvik QA451 mobile triple deck doublescreen;
• Sandvik UJ540E mobile jaw crusher;
• TowerLight VT 8000-FH 9m;
• TowerLight VT Hybrid light-emitting diode (LED); and
• Dust Fighter dust suppression system.

“Our ability to stage a complete display based entirely on new additions to the range shows how significantly the brand is expanding owing to our policy of consistently seeking out or designing and building products ourselves that will add value to customers’ operations,” says Kleinhans.
Leading examples of products developed by the company are the TwisterTrac VS350 vertical shaft impact crusher and the DoppiaTrac DR400 double roll crusher conceived and manu- factured in Pilot Crushtec International’s extensive manufacturing facilities.

“We are very proud to be exhibiting the world-class Sandvik UJ540E, which will be the biggest mobile crusher ever displayed at a show in South Africa. Together with this product, the Rubble Master RM100 GO!, which is our Austrian supplier’s flagship model, will also be displayed, as well as the upgraded specification of the Pilot Modular/TRIO MJ3042 jaw crusher. “ This product is now available with a prefeeder prescreen which, for a minimal outlay, exerts a massive impact on tonnages,” he adds.

In an industry where time and money are inextricably linked, the addition of two new Tower-Light products is by no means cosmetic. The high illumination output VT 8000-FH 9m has been introduced to assist mine sites and quarries in working around the clock while its sister product, the silently operating, low exhaust emissions VT Hybrid LED provides a freestanding lighting facility, eminently suitable for operation in environmentally sensitive conditions.

Pilot Crushtec International intends its display to be a major focal point of the exposition and will be deploying a large contingent of its local and export sales engineers, technical specialists and senior management who will be at its customers’ disposal during the four-day event.
