TOTAL RUBIA WORKS 1000 15W-40

A multi-grade engine lubricant for earthmoving operations, TOTAL RUBIA WORKS 1000 meets the most stringent standards.

For use with most vehicle brands, this lubricant is certified in accordance with Japanese, European and American criteria. It’s recommended for all diesel engines, up to the most recent compliance with the depollution standards of EURO Phase IIIa and the US EPA TIER 3.

It’s especially designed for engines operating under the most extreme conditions (full load, long periods, dusty and hot atmosphere, and stop-and-go driving).

Main advantages of this product

  • Approvals: Compliance with international standards as well as constructors’ standards.
  • Optimum engine protection even under the most extreme conditions: Anti-wear performance provides optimum protection for the engine components. Measurements of camshaft wear have demonstrated the protective capacities of this lubricant.
  • Detergency piston cleanliness: As demonstrated by tests carried out to obtain JASO approval, it prevents piston deposits and is 5 times more resistant than standard lubricants.
  • Superior oxidation stability: Successfully passed Komatsu’s stringent independent test which tests the oil’s ability to resist oxidation and deposit formation.
  • Reduced oil consumption: Tests carried out on the CATERPILLAR C13 engine have shown that when this product is used, nearly 50% less oil is required compared with the benchmark lubricant - evidence of its perfect piston ring sealing and maximum engine efficiency.
  • Maximum oil change intervals: The formation of soot in the engine contaminates the lubricant and reduces its efficiency. This product has undergone tests in order to meet the ACEA E7 standard and enables the maximum oil change intervals authorised by the constructors to be attained.

TOTAL RUBIA WORKS 4000 15W-40

A high-performance, diesel, engine oil which is designed for the most recent engines of construction and mining machinery, of the world’s leading manufacturers.

A premium, heavy-duty engine oil of a new generation, which meets the latest API CK-4 level, is specially designed for engines operating under the most extreme conditions – full load, long periods, dusty and hot atmosphere.

Recommended for all diesel engines, up to the most recent compliance with the emission standards of US EPA Tier 4 Final and EURO Stage IV and Stage V. Due to its low ash content, this product is perfectly suitable for the engines equipped with post-treatment systems, such as diesel particulate filters (DPF).

Main advantages of this product

  • Certifications: Certified in accordance with Japanese, European and American criteria and approved by many OEMs.
  • Durability and longer drain intervals: Provides excellent durability and drain interval extension even during harsh, extreme duty operating conditions. Able to keep the oil pressure stable and provides maximum protection against wear, as proven by the Shear Stability Test results.
  • Piston cleanliness, bore polishing and sludge tests: Provides excellent piston cleanliness and prevents cylinder liner glazing, which is proved by the test results, which by far exceed the limits established not only by Daimler, but also by ACEA and other OEMs. The perfect indicators of your engine protection and lubricant’s performance
  • Komatsu hot tube test on oil deposits and detergency at high temperatures: Successfully passes Komatsu’s standard Hot Tube Test, required by JASO. This test shows this oil’s ability to resist to oxidation and deposit formation. Furthermore, it is one of the few products on the market which is also able to pass the stringent version of this test, performed at higher temperature, as required by certain OEMs.
