Tiger Brands says meat processing disposal unconditional

Consumer brands company Tiger Brands says the disposal of its meat processing businesses in Germiston, Polokwane and Pretoria, to wholly-owned subsidiary of Country Bird, Silver Blade Abattoir, has become unconditional.

Accordingly, the effective date of the transaction is November 1.

Tiger on September 30 reported that the disposal of its Olifantsfontein abattoir business to Morale had become unconditional.
