Three International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (Itac) commissioners Phozisa Mbiko, Wandile Sihlobo and Etienne Vlok, have been reappointed by President Cyril Ramaphosa as part-time members for a period of five years until November 30, 2028.

Additionally, part-time commissioner Tony Ehrenreich continues to serve as a part-time member of Itac until his term ends in March 2024. Following a meeting of the Commission, Vlok has been appointed as the chairperson to preside at its meetings, Itac said in a statement.

The appointment of the new commissioners is in recognition of their experience and expertise in areas that will continue to contribute to strengthening the work of Itac, said Trade, Industry and Competition Minister Ebrahim Patel.
