TAC is an alternate disinfection Company, focussed on the promotion of Anolyte as a powerful, yet safe Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) disinfectant. 

Toward the middle of 2020 a group of like-minded people identified with the need to look for alternate sanitizing and disinfecting solutions. As the COVID19 pandemic gained momentum, it fuelled the urgency for national sanitation; and  we shared a growing concern around the potential knock-on effects of prolonged use of alcohol-based disinfectants. In our quest, scientific research highlighted the outstanding disinfecting potential of a process known as electrochemically activated water, or electrolyzed water (ECA).  ECA is able to produce, at a near neutral pH ,  elevated levels of hypochlorous acid (HOCl). HOCl is a powerful disinfectant, that is highly effective against a wide range of harmful microbes. What’s more is that it did not contain alcohol. From this point, The Anolyte Company (TAC) was established. Together with our strategic technical and brand partner Radical Waters (Pty) Ltd, pioneers of Electro Chemically Activated (ECA) technology,  TAC is well poised to bring the incredible benefits of this safe HOCl rich Anolyte to many more sectors across South Africa.

In our Anolyte bottled brand ActSol LS+® we have a product that is not only registered as a disinfectant with the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS), it also showed a Log 5 reduction, that is a 99,999% efficacy against bacteria, virus, moulds and yeasts. The fact that ActSol LS+® is so effective across such a broad spectrum of pathogens opens up its application way beyond just COVID19.
