Schneider Electric has appointed Taru Madangombe as Africa power and grid segment regional leader and Vladimir Milovanovic as Anglophone Africa power systems VP.

In a statement, the company says their appointments represent Schneider Electric’s continued commitment to the ever-evolving power and grid marketplaces in Africa.

As the former Anglophone Africa power systems VP, Madangombe has gained a wealth of experience at Schneider Electric which will stand him in good stead as he drives the African business.

In his new role, Madangombe will focus on solidifying collaboration and customer engagement across country teams serving the continent.

“I look forward to my new role where I, together with our teams across the continent, will work towards increased market share, service delivery and profitability, positively impacting our business and that of our valued partners and customers,” he says.

Formerly Anglophone Africa hub leader, Milovanovic will, in his new role, be responsible for Schneider Electric’s power systems business in Africa, while also establishing the company’s newly launched sustainable and digital ranges to enhance energy management in Africa.

“Working with our teams, my goal is to focus on targeted geographies, deploying systems of the future that will solidify the move towards sustainable, energy efficient operations on the continent,” he adds.
