Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology will host a virtual event − the Innovation in Mining Virtual Event − next month, which will showcase a line-up of new equipment and solutions, as well as the latest technologies for digitalisation, automation and electrification for the mining industry.

Taking place on September 29 and 30, the global event aims to provide a platform for miners who face the challenges that come with leading mining operations in the modern environment, to learn about and be introduced to some of Sandvik’s innovative solutions for the mining industry and learn how those solutions can deliver value to their operations.

Sandvik will also showcase a line-up of innovative solutions for all of its product offerings including rock drilling, rock cutting, crushing and screening, loading and hauling, electrification and automation. 

Attendees will experience a completely new and unique digital experience, as Sandvik introduces attendees to the latest developments in technology, equipment and services, along with the value those solutions can deliver to a customer’s operations.

Attendees will have the opportunity to virtually tour Sandvik’s state-of-the-art Rock Drills facility and Test Mine, interact with “virtual booths” hosted by each of Sandvik’s product divisions, meet one-on-one with Sandvik representatives, view the latest in Sandvik’s digitalisation and automation offering, and ask questions live to Sandvik’s team of experts.

Attendees will receive high-quality, intensive information and live presentations and, through Sandvik’s experts and a unique networking opportunity, the virtual event looks to provide attendees with insight, information and the tools needed to increase productivity and efficiency at a mining operation.
