The South African Capital Equipment Export Council (SACEEC), which represents the capital equipment and project sector for new projects and the aftermarket, has entered into an agreement with business-to-business news organisation Creamer Media, whereby all SACEEC members enjoy the benefit of having a presence on the company’s new Virtual Showroom platform.

The showroom enables SACEEC members to display their products, services, branding and contact details to a targeted audience. More than 100 SACEEC members will have a presence in Creamer Media’s Virtual Showroom, which aims to assist companies in communicating with their audience.

“SACEEC is an indispensable part of the globalisation of the South African industry, and partnering with Creamer Media will assist our members in offering their products and services to a global market,” says SACEEC CEO Eric Bruggeman.

South Africa’s capital equipment exporters are highly qualified to provide simpler, but comprehensive solutions for mining, machining, equipment and general engineering products in terms of equipment and services; for greenfield and brownfield capital projects; and for aftermarket supplies, bottlenecking, revamping and for optimisation, he says.

SACEEC’s involvement with Creamer Media’s Engineering News and Mining Weekly spans several years; this new partnership also enables SACEEC members to showcase their products continually using the virtual platform, notes Bruggeman.

“The Virtual Showroom platform offers functionality that includes videos, brochures, press conferences, get-in-touch video calls and website facilities – it’s an all-round fantastic platform for our members to showcase their product,” he enthuses.

“We wish to thank Creamer Media for this fantastic opportunity to showcase our members’ products. After studying several different platforms, we believe this is the best possible platform for our members,” concludes Bruggeman.
