President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced that the country will move to Level 3 lockdown from June 15.

A curfew will be in place from 22:00 to 04:00 and gatherings will be limited to 50 people indoors and 100 people outdoors.

Retail sales of alcohol for off-site consumption will only be permitted from 10:00 to 18:00 from Monday to Thursday, but excluding public holidays.

On-site consumption of alcohol in restaurants is permitted in line with licence conditions, but restaurants will have to close at 21:00 to enable employees and customers to travel home before curfew starts.
