The Road Accident Fund (RAF) has appointed Rodney Gounden CFO, effective September 1.

“Gounden is a seasoned leader who has constantly exhibited total commitment to the RAF and the transformation of its operations. His intelligent and experienced approach in undertaking internal audit, risk management, corporate governance and compliance reviews in a dynamic and challenging environment such as ours will positively contribute to managing the RAF’s cash constraints,” RAF acting CEO Lindelwa Jabavu commented on Tuesday.

Gounden joined the RAF in 2013 as a chief audit executive.
