Process Pipe and its newly acquired company, CAB South Africa, has established a national footprint as a wholesaler and retailer of carbon and mild steel pipes, fittings and flanges in South Africa, with branches in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape.

Moreover, as Process Pipe & CAB prioritises distribution and high-quality customer service, the company has distributors in Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana, as well as in South Africa, in Polokwane and Mpumalanga, and owns its own distribution fleet.

The company’s products include carbon steel seamless pipes to specification A106 Grade B and A 53; welded SANS 62 and SANS 719 black PEUC and galvanised pipe; Japanese Industrial Standard buttweld fittings and carbon steel seamless buttweld fittings to specification A 234 WPB; plate flanges to SANS 1123, BS 4504, EN 1092 and BS 10 and forged flanges to ANSI B16.5; malleable iron fittings; and Recomb clamp-on grooved fittings.

The newly acquired range includes Victolic pipe shoulders for both polyvinyl chloride and high-density pipes. We stock EN 1092 plate flanges of up to 1.2 m diameter and supply up to 3 m diameter. Process Pipe is also an official distributor of the Arcelor Mittal seamless steel pipe range for the petrochemicals sector.

Established in 1969, Process Pipe is ISO 9001-certified and has a staff complement of 85. CAB is proud of its unique in-house quality systems implemented in factories in China and India. The company’s sales personel are all knowledgeable, enthusiastic and helpful, and are happy to assist with any pipe -, fittings- and flange-related enquiries.

Further, Process Pipe & CAB has made substantial investments over the years to ensure that it stocks the correct materials for a variety of applications and caters to various market segments, such as, but not limited to, the petrochemicals, air conditioning, gas, fire protection, construction, water, drilling, mining, general engineering, fabrication, agriculture and allied industries.
