Coffee lovers the world over were deeply concerned in July when the Brazilian government indicated that it might introduce support measures to ease a glut that sent prices to multiyear lows. But, in early August, Agriculture Minister Antonio Andrade said government needed more time to weigh options – a move that reportedly infuriated producers on farms such as the one seen above. However, by the time you receive this magazine, the measures may well have been announced making that important morning pick-me-up that much more expensive.
