Being a supplier of concrete equipment in Africa for over 40 years, PMSA provides wet batching plant solutions for customers in the civil sector for renewable energy such as wind and solar plants, conventional power stations, dam construction, roads and bridges; on-site mobile batching plants for the building contractor sector; and Ready-Mix plants, ranging from 30 m3/h to 240 m3/h.

Along with a dedicated customer support and service team, PMSA stocks a full complement of spare parts for all equipment they offer the market. This is to ensure that PMSA customers have minimal downtime and increased profitability.

PMSA continually invests in new technology for both internal manufacturing processes and the products PMSA supplies and manufactures. PMSA focuses on promoting wet batching plant technology, which has been shown to allow reductions in cement content through more intensive mixing and accurate batching, and therefore increases profit by delivering more homogeneous concrete.

Wet batching plants – especially those equipped with planetary mixers – have the added advantage of being able to discharge directly into concrete pumps without the need for agitation in a transit mixer beforehand. This greatly improves productivity and consistency in ready-mix concrete.

PMSA wet batching plants also incorporate moisture measuring and compensation systems. This further allows for total control of the concrete produced, allowing further cost savings to be made.

The PMSA Ready-Mix division has partnered with world-leading planetary pan-mixer suppliers Eurostar and concrete batching plant suppliers IMER – who themselves have over 50 years of Ready-Mix plant manufacturing experience, enabling PMSA to deliver leading technology in wet concrete batching plants, mixers and transit mixers. The ready-mix plants can be built with turbine, planetary or twin-shaft mixers, depending on application and capacity required.

PMSA continually strives to make their customers the most productive and most cost-effective producers in the market.

PMSA has a staff complement of over 260 people, with branches in Durban and Cape Town, as well as agents throughout Africa, allowing its customers to access solutions and support in their markets.
