‘Plug-n-Run’ skid sump allows for maximum return
The Ryalsan North Engineering (RNE) ‘Plug-n-Run’ skid sump is an all-inclusive mini turnkey solution for underground dewatering. It is designed to allow for maximum return from a correctly installed pump, with minimal downtime as a result of pump failure owing to flooding or other incidents.
The skid is able to accommodate all pumps within a certain range, making it versatile and suitable for most applications. The ‘ready for operation’ skid can be towed or lifted into position and is ready to be coupled to the power grid.
It is equipped with overflow holes in line with the maximum water level line of the pump, preventing the pump from flooding, and helping to reduce costs related to labour and equipment replacement.
An additional benefit of the RNE skid sump is that the unit itself is mobile, which means that cubbies do not need to be blasted and once the area is dry, it can be towed or lifted to the next area.
The fully equipped 0.75 m3 steel towable or liftable skid sump is fitted with an RNE 5500 series pump with motor and discharge pipe, coupled to a steel frame starter box, supplied with a standard 5 m armoured power cable for connection to a power box, with longer or shorter power cable lengths also available.
RNE’s latest addition to the 'Plug-n-Run' system is its new 6m3 skid sump, particularly suited to the RNE 5900 Series pump; with a 1000 mm water level, fully equipped and ready to run.
