PIC lifts stake in Sibanye to 15%

State-owned fund manager, the Public Investment Corporation (PIC) has increased its shareholding in NYSE- and JSE-listed precious metals miner Sibanye-Stillwater from 10.0031% to 15.024%.

The PIC had in October last year increased its stake in the mining company from 9.3%.

Sibanye operates gold and platinum group metals mines in South Africa and platinum and palladium assets in the US.
