Project Description
Fortescue approved a final investment decision in November 2023. The project will comprise an 80 MW electrolyser and liquefaction facility, with a production capacity of up to 11 000 t/y of liquid green hydrogen.

The project has ample space for potential staged expansion to meet future demand.

Potential Job Creation
The project is expected to create 300 direct jobs during construction and 40 direct jobs during operations.

Capital Expenditure
$550-million

Planned Start/End Date
Construction is expected to start in second half of 2024, with first production of liquid hydrogen scheduled for mid-2026.
