New range of lights for off-road vehicles available at retail outlets
A new range of lights for off-road vehicles, boats, all-terrain vehicles and 4 × 4 vehicles, is now available at retail outlets.
The VisionX Cannon series of lights is distributed by Probe, a South African importer of batteries and auto-electrical products. The lights are available as a single fixture or as a complete light kit, consisting of two lights and a dual wiring harness with lighted rocker switch. The company stocks the 12.7 cm (25 W) to 17 cm (50 W) light kit as well as 17 cm covers, available in blue, red, amber and blackout. The polycarbonate snap-on colour covers are used to alter the beam pattern and change the colour of the light.
The product design enables simplified installation, with reduced external components. A variety of bulb types and light patterns are available, to enhance visibility at night and in poor weather conditions. In addition, the lights are used to modify the appearance of vehicles.
Light-emitting diode, or LED, lights are used for increased durability and energy-saving, with some options providing a distance of almost one kilometre of usable light.
The Xtreme light bar series is designed for hazardous driving conditions and includes technology to control various functions, with light dimming at different intervals to lower the bar’s overall temperature.
