Construction equipment supplier Putzmeister – as a member of heavy machinery manufacturer SANY Group – exhibited a new truck-mounted concrete pump with a 47-m, five-section boom at this year’s Construction Expo (Conexpo), held from March 7 to 11, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In addition, Putzmeister also exhibited three-boom pumps, one telebelt, a placing boom system and four trailer pumps, along with parts and used equipment.

Putzmeister presented these innovations and new products over 20 800 ft2 for the duration of the expo.

“A dozen of these products made their debut and are specially designed to meet the requirements of the high-end Eastern Union and US markets. The products on exhibition included excavators, road machinery, cranes, forklift trucks and rotary drilling rigs,” Putzmeister explains.

SANY also displayed 27 machines and 64 parts at the expo, with 16 excavators being the highlight at its booth.

“The SY26U is a brand new compact excavator that features zero tail swing and independent boom swing, enhancing productivity in extremely confined spaces. “The SY235CLC is a medium excavator, known as the ‘King of Reach’ and is equipped with an 18-m-long arm and an Intelligent Dynamic Optimisation Machine Control System, which ensures unmatched productivity with optimum fuel economy and superior hydraulic power,” says the group, adding that the large SY500H 50 t excavator is the new flagship for SANY America.

This machine was designed to comply with emission standards and transportation regulations in North America and Europe.

“What is exciting is that SANY will offer a five-year/5 000-hour warranty and 0% financing up to 48 months for all of the excavators at Conexpo 2017.”

Another machine that was exhibited was the SMG200C-8, which features a Tier 4F engine for high power and fuel efficiency, reliable direct drive and powerful shift transmission for quick response to operator input, and a load-sensing hydraulic system to provide precise control.

“The rough terrain crane, crawler crane, forklift truck and drilling rig are also SANY’s star products that were worth visiting at the expo. They offer exceptional safety and reliability, guarantee comfortable and convenient ergonomics and significantly reduce emissions,” the company adds.

SANY further mentions that, in addition to the machines, a range of parts were represented.

With the slogan ‘Now it is time for SANY’, the company welcomed global customers to booth number G2877 in the Gold Lot and booth number G74002 in the Gold Hall at the event.

“With an exhibition area totalling 36 800 ft2, SANY was the largest of all the Chinese exhibitors,” the company concludes.

SANY is a global heavy machinery manufacturer with plants in the US, Germany, Brazil and India and the company’s business covers over 150 countries and regions globally.
