Minister Rob Davies To Address Infrastructure Africa On 21 August 2017
Africa’s premier infrastructure event, the INFRASTRUCTURE AFRICA BUSINESS FORUM, is pleased to announce Minister Rob Davies of the South African Department of Trade & Industry will deliver the Ministerial on the 21st August 2017 to be held at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg. This will be the 6th edition of the Infrastructure Africa Business Forum.
Infrastructure Africa has been the deal-making platform for many important African infrastructure projects in the past and will continue to build on its successes at the 2017 edition.
This Forum, which is the biggest regional event dedicated to the topic of infrastructure, has the highest level of African and South African endorsement for an infrastructure event on the continent.
Infrastructure is the key to Africa’s socio-economic transformation and faster growth, but requires the collaboration of experts, governments, policy makers, investors and businesses - which is what the Infrastructure Africa Business Forum is all about .
Every productive economy has strong infrastructure networks, which integrate and connect cities which undergird transport, healthcare and educational systems, technology and businesses. Africa is a continent rich in resources and potential and the implementation of its infrastructure plans are critical for it to optimising individual and collective economic potential.
And with Africa’s biggest economies emerging from a growth slowdown, the rise in Africa’s middle classes will boost their demand for modern infrastructure
