Michelin appoints AIME region president

Tire manufacturing multinational Michelin has appointed Gaganjot Singh as Michelin Africa, India and Middle East region president.

He succeeds Marc Pasquet and will be based out of Pune, India.

Across his ten-year tenure with Michelin, Singh has held various leadership roles in finance, sales and other commercial functions across Asia, Africa and Europe. Since 2019, Singh has served as Large Fleets Global Business Model leader within the Long-Distance Transportation Business Line.

From 2016 to 2019, he was Southern African Customs Union (SACU) MD. He joined Michelin Group, in India, in 2012 as CFO.

Earlier in his career, Singh held various leadership positions in companies such as GlaxoSmithKline and Pepsico in varying finance, purchase and logistics functions, including his last role as CFO of Saint-Gobain Construction Products in India before joining Michelin Group in 2012.
