Siyakhulisa Trading Enterprise (Pty) Ltd was first registered in 2005 under another name with the sole purpose to grow chicks into chickens to be sold. The roots of the company lie in chicken farming however as time has progressed, the company has expanded its interests to include the business of transportation, energy, and construction. The 100 per cent Black owned business has subsequently consolidated the multiple businesses to trade under one umbrella company, namely Siyakhulisa Trading Enterprise (Pty) Ltd.

Siyakhulisa Trading Enterprise holds the following pillars as paramount to their business: quality, promptness, honesty, development and empowerment. The diversification of business interests began in 2007 when the company was exposed to opportunity in the mining industry. This expansion led to the transportation of coal with other experienced companies from mines to the Eskom power stations around the Mpumalanga province. The experience and knowledge gained from working with more seasoned companies propelled Siyakhulisa Transport into being a player in the competitive transportation industry.

2012 saw the management adopt a different business approach by registering Siyakhulisa Trading Enterprise as an umbrella company for the different businesses. What was previously known as Siyakhulisa Tinkuku, Siyakhulisa Transport and Siyakhulisa Construction has now been consolidated to form one group. The rebrand signifies a fresh and dynamic management style which suits the vision of the business moving forward, which is diversification.

The objectives of the company are as follows:

  • To provide cost effective business services on small to large projects
  • To uplift the previously disadvantaged communities by providing them with job opportunities and skills.
