Maxiflex has gained a stellar reputation for offering state-of-the-art industrial door and loading dock solutions to the Sub-Sahara African market.

Further extending its innovative docking equipment suite, the company recently launched its locally designed, MaxiDock AP, a robust Air Powered dock leveller that connects the building with the vehicle and allows for quick and efficient loading and unloading.

Maxiflex leads the industry with its comprehensive range of products, systems and accessories that cater to customers’ warehousing, distribution and logistical requirements. “To add extra value to our customers’ requirements and need for air powered dock levellers we develloped the MaxiDock AP,” explains Bram Janssen, Managing Director of Maxiflex. “This innovative and cost-effective unit complements our premium hydraulic dock leveller from ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems.”

Recommended for dock heights of 1 350mm, the advanced MaxiDock AP is available in two options, the MaxiDock AP610 and MaxiDock AP710 which is 300mm wider to cater for larger entry/exit points.

Premium components have been used in the manufacture of the MaxiDock AP to ensure minimum maintenance, maximum durability and extended life cycle. The dock leveller features a reinforced base frame as well as plated shafts and pins. The robust swing lip support with safety tread and open hinges averts rust build up and requires no lubrication for easy maintenance and minimal downtime.

Maxiflex focused on straightforward, hassle-free operation in the design of the MaxiDock; with its single push button control, the user-friendly MaxiDock is extremely easy to operate. Uniquely designed to prevent material handling equipment from ‘grounding out’, the 16mm thick 400mm long bent lip assists in preventing tripping hazards.

The MaxiDock, with a 10 000 kg capacity, is synonymous with strength. The unit consists of three hinges on the rear deck and eight or ten deck support beams, depending on the width of the dock. In addition, the MaxiDock features steel toe guards that slide inside the unit.

Maxiflex is also a market leader when it comes to docking accessories which include cushion seals, truck guides, bolsters, and traffic lights. To assist customers in protecting their building and loading dock equipment, the company offers D-type, removable and laminated dock bumpers available in various sizes.

“Maxiflex has gone beyond the standard docking equipment range to provide customers with world-class products that will contribute to the enhancement of their productivity and profitability. We are confident that the MaxiDock will enable customers to take their businesses to greater levels,” concludes Janssen.

Curtain dock shelters, load-houses, overhead sectional doors, high-speed door systems and PVC strip curtains complete Maxiflex’s diverse loading dock portfolio.
