Maxiflex Door Systems
East Rand-based Maxiflex Door Systems, which has been in operation since 1990, is a manufacturer, supplier and installer of strip curtains, protection screens, flexible impact doors and rigid impact doors.
The 72-employee company is also the sole distributor in South Africa of the ASSA ABLOY range of industrial doors, including the Albany brand, which is renowned for its high-speed doors; the Crawford brand, well known internationally for its high-quality sectional doors, dock levellers and docking solutions; and the Megadoor brand, whose vertical-lifting fabric doors are specially made for large openings, such as those in mining workshops, aircraft hangars and shipyards. Maxiflex Door Systems is also a supplier of Teckentrup industrial roller doors and steel hinge doors.
The company, which has a 2 000 m2 factory at 14 Foreman street, near Kempton Park, operates in line with South African Bureau of Standards and European norms.
In the recent past, Maxiflex Door Systems supplied 24 Megadoors to Anglo American Platinum’s Mogalakwena mine, 17 Megadoors and six Albany ultrabig doors to the Sishen iron-ore mine, 23 Crawford sectional doors to the Midas group, 42 Crawford sectional doors and three dock levellers to Super Group, 50 Crawford sectional doors to DHL and 60 Crawford sectional doors and 30 dock levellers with shelters to Southlands, in Johannesburg.
The company also supplied more than 50 Teckentrup steel hinge doors and more than 50 Teckentrup roller doors to Mondelez, in Port Elizabeth, as well as a large number of Crawford sectional doors and Albany high-speed doors to Unilever.
