A range of locally manufactured pumps provides industry with access to the latest slurry pumping technology, assisting companies to meet productivity demands.

With a one-piece frame for correct alignment of bearings, seal and impeller to front liner, the pump is engineered to enhance efficiency and increase operational savings. The pump incorporates an adjustable and rotatable throatbush, so that the wear can be more evenly spread and the pump’s performance can be maintained for longer periods.

The ‘one point’ front liner adjustment feature allows for both rotation and axial movement, to minimise the front impeller gap, reduce wear and maintain performance. This adjustment can be made while the pump is running, reducing the need to stop production; resulting in potential cost savings for the plant.

The streamlined impeller inlet of the pump facilitates enhanced handling of slurries. While the low-flow gland seal, expeller seal and mechanical seal options on the pump result in less dilution of the slurry and lower required flow of gland water.

Equipped with large capacity bearings, the pump can withstand high loads without affecting bearing life. The impeller and volute flow paths are streamlined to enhance efficiencies and extend component wear life.

The Warman WBH range of pumps are typically used in heavy duty applications such as mill discharge, slurry transfer and process pumping applications, and is suitable for both greenfield and brownfield installations.
