Technilamp is a leading distributor of ultraviolet light technology in South Africa. We have successfully built a sound reputation as a market leader in our sector over 45 years, carrying the widest range of solutions.

As we all race to find safe ways in which we can adapt to the challenging times we currently face, it’s important to look at how we can incorporate technology into our daily operations and across big projects going forward.

Hygiene and safety precautions are taking precedent at every turn. Therefore, the use of ultra-violet light as a successful solution to deploy protection against harmful pathogens is on the rise. Technilamp distributes a range of surface, air and hand-held disinfection units that help mitigate the spread of bacteria by deactivating the DNA of the pathogen and destroying its ability to reproduce. An airborne pathogen is killed instantly when coming into contact within the radius of the UV-C irradiance kill area.

Apart from offering a safe and bacteria-free environment, ultra-violet germicidal technology is also environmentally friendly and chemical-free, helping protect both the environment and people.

At Technilamp, we have seen the need to help protect people in busy and densely congested spaces e.g. in retail environments and the industrial sector. Our ultra-violet hand-held surface disinfection unit is the advanced light technology solution to this meet this need as it assists in the immediate disinfection of all surfaces. Our induct air disinfection systems are custom designed according to airflow and duct size whereby the unit is able to deliver indoor sterile air around the clock, and our water sterilization system delivers on all levels as it is chlorine-free and energy-efficient.

As we move towards a new and safer way of going about business, let’s look at solutions that light the way for the engineering sector, together.
