Dairy producer Lactalis South Africa has appointed Herman Janse van Rensburg as its new GM with effect from July 18.

Janse van Rensburg succeeds Alban Damour, who has taken up his new assignment as GM for Lactalis India.

Janse van Rensburg joined Lactalis South Africa 12 years ago as a financial manager and has worked in various executive positions across management control, commercial, and marketing. Prior to this new appointment, he was COO for Lactalis South Africa.

“This year marks 90 years of Group Lactalis being in business, and I am excited to be part of this milestone and lead Lactalis South Africa into its next phase of growth. Together with the Lactalis SA team, I will continue to build on the strong foundation that Damour built during his tenure and maintain our position as the number one dairy company in South Africa.

“I also look forward to working with all our customers, business partners and communities as we continue to make a meaningful impact in the communities within which we work and live,” he comments.

Lactalis South Africa is home to quality and trusted brands such as Président, Parmalat, Melrose, SteriStumpie, Bonnita, PureJoy, Galbani, EasyGest, Fabulite and Aylesbury.
