Aim-listed Kefi Minerals on Monday noted its regret at the sudden passing of its chairperson Mark Wellesley-Wood.

In a statement, the board and staff acknowledged the considerable contribution made by Wellesley-Wood towards the company’s development.

Kefi MD Harry Anagnostaras-Adams will resume the role of executive chairperson, which he held prior to Wellesley-Wood’s appointment.

Kefi is a gold exploration and development company with projects in Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia.
