Project Description
The KAA plans to build a second runway at JKIA to transform the airport into a world-class facility. The new runway is designed to ease pressure on the existing runway and nearly double the movement of aircraft from 25 to 45 an hour. According to the design, the new Category 2 runway conforms to international standards and will be 4.8 km long and 75 m wide.
