How is non-racialism understood by South Africans in 2012? More precisely how do members of South
Africa’s ruling party, the African National Congress (ANC), understand and implement non-racialism?

Researchers from the Centre for the Study of Democracy (UJ/Rhodes) were commissioned by the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation to conduct a research report on this topic.

Executive director of the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation, Shan Balton, speaks to Polity about non-racialism in the ANC and South Africa.
