Established in 1966, the Hytec Group, a Bosch Rexroth company, is Africa’s largest fluid power and automation company, engineering innovative hydraulic, pneumatic and automation solutions and distributing around 30 of the world’s leading brands.

The Group includes seven specialist companies, with full service and support through 40 branches in over 7 African countries across sub-Saharan Africa:

Africa’s largest single-source supplier of hydraulic solutions, Hytec, specialises in the design, manufacture, installation, service and repair of hydraulic systems.

Tectra Automation specialises in industrial and factory automation with leading pneumatic, vacuum, electric drive and control, process valves and actuators, linear motion and assembly system technology.

The group’s dedicated hydraulic and lube filtration specialist, Hytec Fluid Technology, provides total fluid maintenance solutions and equipment.

Hydraulic and Automation Warehouse supplies an expansive range of hydraulic hose and fittings, components and hydraulic accessories for fluid power and mobile machinery applications.

Hytec Engineering is sub-Saharan Africa’s only hydraulic cylinder company offering in-house design, manufacture, repair, testing, service and maintenance of hydraulic cylinders under one roof, while Hytec Services Africa brings the group’s products, repairs and services to sub-Saharan Africa through branches and distributors in 11 countries.

The group’s procurement and distribution arm, HYSA, manages the efficient distribution network of the group’s complete range of products into sub-Saharan Africa.

In mid-2018, five group companies will relocate to new premises in Kempton Park. This 17 000 m2 facility will be the group’s strategic hub supplying complete design, engineering, refurbishment, manufacturing and assembly capabilities for the entire sub-Saharan Africa region.
