At HUAWEI CONNECT 2018, Huawei launched SD-WAN cloud services for enterprise customers for the first time and announced that the services are available for a free trial for one year on HUAWEI CLOUD. Together with HUAWEI CLOUD, Huawei SD-WAN Solution provides enterprise customers with interconnection services suitable for convergence in the all-cloud era, helping enterprises intelligently connect to the cloud.

Huawei SD-WAN Solution provides one-stop cloud services for enterprises. Enterprises can log in to HUAWEI CLOUD anytime and anywhere. Depending on the site quantity and requirements, enterprises can purchase comprehensive cloud and network resources, including next-generation AR series high-performance SD-WAN routers, SD-WAN services, Value-Added Services (VASs), cloud resources, and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services provided by professional Managed Service Providers (MSPs). This implements one-stop interconnection for enterprises and quickly addresses their service development requirements.

Huawei’s full line of next-generation AR series SD-WAN routers come in extensive models, including Customer Provided Equipment (CPE) and universal CPEs (uCPEs). The AR series SD-WAN routers are suitable for all-scenario interconnection of hybrid clouds, branches, and the Internet. Developed on a unified platform, all of these models provide more than 10 WAN interfaces and support hybrid WAN, enabling on-demand interconnection. They also converge abundant service functions, including SD-WAN, WAN Optimization Controller (WOC), voice, Wi-Fi, and security to significantly simplify branch deployment and O&M. The next-generation AR series routers use a unique hardware acceleration engine, multi-core concurrent processing mechanism, and three-level high-speed cache. They offer twice the forwarding performance of the industry average, without any deterioration of concurrent key services. The application-based intelligence engine ensures lossless voice and data compression to provide a high-quality communication experience during concurrent branch service deployment.

For enterprises with chain stores, particularly enterprises with cross-region or cross-country branches, Huawei SD-WAN cloud services use Virtual Customer Premises Equipment (vCPE) to build cloud sites and leverage the technology of intelligently selecting the optimal link and more than 400 global Points of Presence (POPs) on HUAWEI CLOUD, thus implementing single-hop cloud connection. With the network access speed improved by 5 folds, Huawei’s next-generation AR series routers provide ultimate, intelligent cloud and network experience for enterprises.

Leveraging Huawei’s next-generation AR series high-performance SD-WAN routers, in combination with Huawei’s cloud-based Agile Controller and professional MSP services, Huawei SD-WAN cloud services are suitable for interconnection scenarios of chain enterprises, multi-branch large corporations, and small- and medium-sized enterprises.

Moreover, Huawei cooperates with partners such as Riverbed, InfoVista, and Fnetlink Group to build an open SD-WAN cloud-network ecosystem.Together, Huawei and its partners are developing end-to-end capabilities of the SD-WAN Solution to improve customers’ cloud interconnection experiences.

Alan Zhang, Deputy General Manager of Huawei Enterprise Gateway Domain, said: “The one-stop cloud and network services provided by Huawei SD-WAN Solution together with HUAWEI CLOUD significantly simplify the deployment and O&M of enterprise branches and enable on-demand network access services with cloud service-like availability. These services help enterprises optimize the branch and cloud interconnection experience and provide enterprise customers with interconnection services suitable for cloud-network convergence in the all-cloud era, enabling enterprises to intelligently connect to the cloud.”

Huawei has been making continuous investments and innovations in the SD-WAN field. Huawei SD-WAN Solution and products have now served more than 30 customers in government, finance, large enterprise, carrier, and MSP sectors, helping them achieve businesses success.

Huawei is committed to working with customers in the long term and takes a future-oriented approach to drive enterprise digital transformation through the power of the platform. So far, 211 of the Fortune Global 500 companies (including 48 Fortune Global 100 companies) have selected Huawei as their digital transformation partner.

HUAWEI CONNECT 2018 – "Activate Intelligence" –is held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center and Expo Center from October 10 to 12.

This year's HUAWEI CONNECT conference is designed to help all businesses and organizations step over the threshold and stake their claim in the intelligent world. You will be joined by the best minds in the industry – including global ICT leaders, industry experts, and ecosystem partners – to chart the way forward and explore new opportunities.
