Honeycomb BEE Ratings – BEE Legislation and the Mining Industry
Honeycomb BEE Ratings is an independent, nationally-based, SANAS accredited B-BBEE Verification Agency which conducts professional and impartial verifications of all enterprises, across all sectors, countrywide.
The Honeycomb mission is to be the preferred verification agency to South African businesses, ensuring the systematic process of verification to benefit their clients to support the imperative transformation of South Africa’s economy.

The B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice determine the targets to be achieved for scoring points on the B-BBEE scorecard, however, companies operating within the mining industry are subject to comply with the targets set out by the mining charter to obtain and maintain a Mining Licence.
The directors and staff at Honeycomb are comprised of some of the most efficient, qualified, and passionate people in the B-BBEE industry who are highly trained in the B-BBEE legislation, as well as the 2018 Mining Charter.
